What is impact investment?
Impact investment is an approach to investment that seeks to quantify the level of social or environmental impact that is being delivered as a direct or indirect outcome of the activities of the investments we make and use that information to support investment decisions that lead to more positive outcomes and less harm to the planet and society.
Impact can be direct by providing products and services to end beneficiaries, or indirect by creating systemic improvement.
Impact can be deep, making a huge change in someone’s life, or lighter touch, involving smaller changes.
