Come and chat informally with our investment team and sector experts.
Are you a founder with a venture idea or an early-stage company that fits with one of Nesta’s impact goals?
We welcome you to join us for a chat about your business or start-up vision with our investment team and sector experts at our very first Founders’ Office Hours.
Nesta Ventures is an experienced team of VC investors and sector experts, all focused on building successful businesses that deliver on our three impact goals in education, health and sustainability. We are backed by Nesta, the UK’s social innovation agency. Committed to supporting outstanding entrepreneurs, we bring the skills, networks and resources of the 250-strong team at Nesta to accelerate success for the ventures we back.
Thank you for everyone who took part in this event on 13th April 23. We will post here when we plan to run our next Founders’ Office Hours.
What are Office Hours?
Office Hours sessions aim to give founders who have a venture concept or early-stage business the chance to build up their networks with investors and informally get their feedback. They offer the chance to ask questions and discuss the potential of your company.
Who is this for?
We welcome applications from all founders building businesses relevant to Nesta’s three impact goals. Across Nesta’s Mission Studio and Impact Investment team, we typically are looking to connect with founders from ideation stage through to seed and Series A ventures. We are UK based, so our focus is on operations and impact in the UK, but we are flexible on where companies are based.
Who will I talk to?
We will seek to match you with an investor and sector expert from our Nesta teams, looking for the best fit with your venture or idea.
Will this lead to funding?
This is not intended as an application for funding. Rather it is intended to be an informal chat to access feedback and advice. Anyone wanting to apply for investment can do so via our Impact Investment site or Mission Studio initiative.
Is this in person or online?
These meetings will be held online by Zoom.
